Indriya is a play of senses. Indriya is an exquisite yet rooted statement of quiet elegance. The correlation of the five human senses or 'Indriya', to integrate with the persona is the ultimate desire of Indriya.
Indriya is an All-Women Enterprise formed by Arthi who has spent numerous years in the Corporate world building Human Relations and Business Profitability. The call for change came in the form of a realisation of mindless consumerism, use/ignore and environment polluting fast fashion, unfair trade practices observed, and the rapid proliferation of guises of Handmade / Handwoven products.
In response she started Indriya in 2021, an enterprise that focuses on a Design & Retail of Traditional, Heritage handloom pure silk sarees, that have vintage, 'old-world' aesthetics, handcrafted for the mindful saree lover. Indian, sustainable, slow fashion is her raison d'etre.
The choice to pursue an alternate course was inspired by the desire to be socially relevant and impactful and a deep sense of paying it forward.
Brand Principles
The brand will be anchored to the principles of ‘slow fashion’ and offer a curated range of premium understated elegance, that is unique, artisanal yet functional and customized to the desires of our Patrons. Our brand will be about quality instead of quantity. Each look will have an aspect of Indian craft with a contemporary application and appeal. Our products should endure and we will actively promote sustainability.

Narrate and showcase unique stories of high quality Indian craftsmanship and present these through, a curated contemporary marketing platform to effect a positive economic change in India’s handloom and handicraft sectors. The stories will instil pride and create awareness about preserving our ecology and heritage
